BTW, love those jaw fish-- some of my all time favorite fish. I didn't realize you'd done saltwater too. Whatever aquarium you do, you sure do it right!
Joan
Joan, as a teenager, young adult my family use to go to the keys every summer. We would go for lobster, fish and dive. This gave me an appreciate for the Florida reefs and fish. So all my marine tanks have been a Florida bio-tope. I was thrilled when I found I could keep the gorgonians alive and even grow.

Aw, ok, now I remember - thanks, Pat - I just didn't relate the name 'Matt' with his well-known 'user name' ( to me, anyway) that I've been seeing for a long time. Excellent photography, no doubt, but as I said earlier, you & Jose have done a marvelous job shooting 'wilds', and I can't recall Matt's pics including any of those - not that I'm taking anything away from his talents !
Thanks Paul, Matt has photos of wild discus. I think his focus is elsewhere these days.

Excellent Spotlight Pat ... Its great seeing your history and pics showcased here. Its been said by many others here, and I agree whole heartedly ...Pat has a natural skill with discus and what she doesn't know, she takes the time to ask about with those that do. She also doesn't give up if something doesnt work out.Its the hallmark of a successful hobbyist.
She is also a great friend, excellent Admin, and a very important part of the community and hobby here. I am really Glad to see this spotlight on her.
Best always Pat, and Thank you for all your help on Simply.

Aw shoot Al, you are making me blush ...you know I am simply here to help in whatever way I can...and yes, I will continue to beat my head against a wall until it gives way. Comes from writing and debugging code, and spending hours upon hours finding and fixing a problem. Fish are similar in some ways but a lot more fun
Your friend,
Pat
