Bill, sorry to hear of this sad news...RIP
Bill,
Sorry for your loss. It is hard, even when you know it is the best thing for your pet. My mom had to put her lab down a few months ago. It was especially hard for her as Halifax was her buddy and companion after my dad passed away unexpectedly ten years ago. Halifax was always there for her when she need a hug, or someone to talk to.
Our pets are more than just fury beasts around the house, they are cherished members of the family.
With sincere condolences,
Greg

Sorry about the loss beautiful dog. Jeff
Hi Bill,
I'm sorry for your loss, yet congratulation for rescuing Jackie from a kill shelter and having 10 good years with her. The fact that you not only rescued her, and she worked out for you, is only testament to your skills with animals.
Now, how do I get a tattoo of a guitar on one of my dogs.....
Craig
Sorry Bill, but what a good life she had thanks to you. Our shelter pets are always so special and grateful to be adopted. Fill that empty space in your home with a new dog who needs you. When a cat leaves us, we always head to the shelter to save another one.
Barb
Sorry for your loss. She ended up with a good life but it is always very difficult when it ends. I have had the vet visit 6 times and each time I vow it is the last but then there is another. They give too much while you have them with you to avoid having one.
Ron
So...did you get another dog yet?
You apparently didn't trip across this thread.

Thanks! I was hoping he found another one
Condolences Bill, never easy as you say but when the time comes we all do the right thing, or try to. Congrats on the new pup too
