You will never see them again.

not a fan, they get too big and trash the tank IMO. they are plant friendly in that they don't eat the plants, but their boisterous attitudes once they are big, especially at feeding time, will uproot your stem plants easily.

Jacylyn, do you mean clown loaches or kuhli loaches. Never heard of a large kuhli loach; but I'd like to see one :-)
you're right larry, im thinking clown loaches in my head all the while reading kuhli loach. my bad OP, ive never kept kuhli so I cant comment on them.

Love them, I have had them in the past but like everyone has said, you will never see them again.
Set as I am in my ways and my arrogance.
They are necternal fish, I'll see if when I redo the tank how many hiding spots there are that I can't see into. Thanks for the opinions they won't hurt my corydoras will they they also come out at night

they wont harm your corys. or your discus. or your plants. in fact i asked about them here on SD a while back and was told they're pretty good scavengers to keep in your tank.
but again, rarely seen.

Do they dig them self in the gravel or something?

well i have sand, and some medium-large stones. i think they kinda dig into the sand a little around the base of the stones, but i can't be sure, cause i haven't found them when i do catch a rare glimpse they are coming from around the base of those stones.
