Spawning cycles

Hi all I wanted to know how long is the egg laying cycle last and do they have multiple cycles in their lives, if there is pause, is there a time that females just stops.

Egg laying may be weekly for a month or two then off cycle, but the off cycle might be a couple of weeks to sometimes 6 months, each female is different. Sooner or later the female will stop
laying for life, usually by then the offsprings will be ready to spawn. The most spawns
I got out of an female was about 20. which is rare.
