As a framing shot you did well, however, it is a tad bit over exposed.

Yup, that's the one for me. Puts it at a much better ratio as far as thirds as well. Way to go Pat.

I like the third one as well. What is the photo for?
Did you use a polarizer? As you know, I always look at the quality of the light. Fla. is tough because things get harsh during a sunny day, pretty quickly. The greenery would be much softer and have more depth with longer light. When you dropped the exposure the whites turned a little gray. Can the white slider go to the right a bit more?
I think the comp is great and well seen.

One of the senior members of the camera club had a teaching photo shot at Leu Gardens and our "assignment" was to take unique shots of the grounds. This photo was one of the attempts. Not sure if this is better or not.

Stan, had to sleep on it and finally figured out what you were seeing. The whites were too cool so I warmed them up by changing the WB to daylight.

Warming did indeed bring the whites back, subtle but I like it better.
The last two are really very good. I will nit pick a bit.
Watch your crop. The top one I would move down from the top just a bit to try and save some of the bottom curve coming in from the left without interrupting the top lines (if possible with the same aspect ratio).
The second one I would try to not cut off the last pedal on the right or clone it out to the edge of the pedal just to its left.
Small items but these are what the judges see!

I like the crop and it warmed as well.
Love the flowers, agree with Stan on the purple one crop wise. The orange one doesn't really bug me cutting off the petal on the right. If it were a really perfect, even circle/skirt of petals It would bug me but seeing as it's kind of jagged non uniform edge i don't mind it really. Personal opinion. Although the clone might produce a nice result. What I really really like is the uniform green bokeh, really good contrast with the flower and does not distract you trying to figure out whats in the background. What fstop was used on the orange flower do you know? I wonder if you could of stopped down a bit more to get more of the flower in focus rather than just the tips especially having a nice solid background I don't think your bokeh would of suffered.

Thanks Stan and Matt,
Either of these photos were cropped so with the top photo I have nothing to work with but I do have two more photos of the same thing. For the second photo do you see any post processing artifacts?
