    Yes they are young, I believe it was more of a "what is this" reaction. But hey, I figured I'd share just for in case. The body of largest fish is about 4" nose to end of tail.

    Damian, if you don't mind who is your friend? As far as I know there has been no pure Santa Isabel red scalare breeding that has been reported.....they are as hard to induce to breed as true altums.

    also, you should see the Orinoco Altums he has at the moment. They are the most amazing fish I have ever seen, they are huge

    No pictures but all fish are doing great. Keeping Ph at 5.5 with tds of 70+- and all seem happy.
