My Discus Are Fighting With Each Other

Hi I have a large pair of Pigeon Bloods, Medium Golden, Small Powder Blues

The pigeon bloods seem to be fighting with the Golden discus since i introduced them 2 days back.

Any idea how i can stop this.

My tank is 55 Gal

How many discus total do you have in this tank? Do you have a picture?

6 discus in a small 55g that has substrate and plants is not a very suitable tank for discus. They are probably just fighting for the little territory they have. Since you just introduced them, give them some time to adjust. There is really no telling if they will get along or if the strongest one in the tank will pummel the incoming discus.

All animals fight. It is completely normal and will ease up some once they establish a pecking order. I might also suggest you spend a little time in the beginners section. Your tank setup is far from ideal for raising discus.
