Alenquers in the wild can range from nearly solid to a partial/full royal. Do you know if both parents were both Alenquer? Nice pair BTW.

I bought these two discus around 10 months ago ( they have now paired up and spawned many times) as Alenquer F1's.
However, I'm thinking only one is an Alenquer and the other is possibly a Royal?

Oh, okay. No, not sure of parentage. Bought them from Uncle Sam's Discus.

I plan to try to raise some fry this summer, when I have more time. They spawn pretty regularly, but the eggs get eaten because in tank with other discus. It will be a new experience for me. Ive had discus for about 15 years, but have never tried to get fry from them.
