They're owned by Petco....
hello I just wonder if anyone had ever dealt with liveaquaria I seen they have their vampire shrimp on sale for 13.99 from reg.price 18.99 so if buy enough to get free shipping at reg price would be 6 X 18-99 = 113.94 so 13.99 X8 is 111.92 so it like save 2 dollars on 6 plus get 2 free this has got me to want to buy at this deal just wonder if anyone has bought from them or what anyone knows about liveaquaria hope to hear something soon

I tried them for several fish as their prices were decent and I couldn't find what I wanted locally.... loaches , and rams I think 2 years ago.. They did not do well. They shipped fine , but croaked within 24 hours. I wasn't too impressed. I also bought mosquito fish which did great and I have still have them. I would say quarantine like they have the plague.. but then again, I always say that no matter where the fish come from or what species they are.

I have mixed results w them. First, however, their customer service is great w problems. I once ordered Cardinal Tets from them and six of the ten were neons. Most did die and I was taken care of. The Pearl agouramis I got from them were great as were the Assassin Snails. Their plants are usually good and are grown (the ones I inquired abt) in fishless tanks. One plant pkg was really poor and they refunded me the entire bunch. The Hygrophylia augustiana plants were superb. So......I have mixed feelings abt ordering, but w the fine customer service, I’d do it again.....I just don’t have the need in the near future. Also, this was when they were Drs. Foster and Smith. Petco....?????
Petco bought foster and Smith. They shuttered foster and Smith last month. So disappointed as I got a lot of my equipment from them.

Thanks for replying to this post Eric, and Bill
Thanks Bill that's what I asking for results good and bad and over all thoughts on the place good customer service is is a plus in bad situation's hmm I do feel that this is my only choice for vampire shrimp at this point I have been waiting about SIX months for my local Fish store to be able to get some in and they have not been available to my LFS
Go for them. Good luck and share how things go.
Well I ordered 8 vampire shrimp over the weekend so they shipped out on Monday and I received them yesterday, that arrived alive they sent an extra one, so I received 9 I sold 4 of them to a friend. I have them in a 10 gallon by them self and I keep them in quarantine watch them for 6 weeks to make sure they OK to put in other tanks I've been lucky with the liveaquria purchase so far they have 14 day arrive alive stay alive guarantee I hope they live for years
