Good luck with the disc..
Are the pairs together ?
This is the 3 try for the first pair. I think they might have figured it all out now. It's the 2nd try for the pair that is spawning as I typed. They are the better of the two pairs so I really have my fingers crossed.
I'm going to give the Rams a bit of a rest until after I get fry and see that they're about 3 weeks. If they spawn and raise their own kids I can handle it, I'm not going to be any artificial raising right now.

Each pair is in it's own breeding tank but both pairs failed again this time. They'll try again soon enough.

So we're talking discus pairs here Liz? What stations do you have separated? Any pics of them? Cheers mate, rootin for ya!!
Yes, I started the thread in the Breeding Discus sub forum. I have each pair in a 40 cube. I'll take pics once they do something right. I'm not excited enough about them now to bother with pics.

The first pair spawn for the 3 time the other day. Today they are moving their wigglers rather than eating them. They have reached a new landmark. Fingers crossed and BBS a cookin'.

Liz....are you selling any juvenile discus?...thinking of doing discus again.

I will when these young pairs wise up and actually raise the kids rather than eat them. Young males often don't have a lot of smarts (no offence to all you males out there).
What fish are you keeping now, Francis?

Wow! I had no idea! I wondered what had happened to you and noticed you back on the forum during the past several months. I sure hope your recovery is going well.
Like I said, I have nothing now. But I'm working on making my F1's of my own breeding. I crossed a domestic Red Spotted Green and a spotted Blue Scorpion. I got some Turks but mostly Red Spotted Blue SS's. I'm delighted with the look of the fish. They have a very strong blue base and excellent conformation, if you like high finned fish.
PM me some time. It would be nice to chat.
