Ideal discus fish aquarium ratio in size

I have seen many discus aquarium. In some the length is twice the width and height. In some aquarium the width is slightly more than the height. Which aquarium measurement are both good looking and less stressful for the discus.

The take home is minimal depth of 18-20 inches and maximum depends on your arm length.
