Petco tank sale!

Barb, there is a petco just over the border in Bellingham Washington. Its only about an hours drive from Abbotsford here where i live. Maybe ill have to go check it out.

Damn, a curse and a blessing, what to do?!!! I could use another 125 but I don't know about a 55.

I called the local petcos by me and they will be starting the sale this sunday too.

Of course, it does not include the filters and stuff. This is where they get you. They may lose some money from the tanks, but know they will probably get it back from the sales of those want to buy everything at once.

Yeah, I know. We know never to buy stuff online or better yet, from local adds of breeders or LFS going out of business.

Plus many of us already have extra equipment laying around to use anyways.

just yesterday I saw a 55 gal. corner bowfront sell for $55. original cost: 274. ouch.

I happened to stop by to by a test kit and talked to the sales person. They said someone came in on Sunday on bought out 5 of their 55 gallon tanks. Looks like we have a new discus breeder starting up or maybe upgrading in the area.

I doubt that it's a weak sale. As Wolfbane stated, allot of us know where to get that stuff cheap. Cheap tanks are hard to come by, unless you buy them used. And who knows what condition the used ones are at. Plus, as I mentioned earlier, allot of us already have extra equipment laying around.

Let me get this straight.... If one has to they can pertty much rig up everything else. But if you want to actually look at the fish swimming around in the water then you need somethign CLEAR that holds water.....????

So a company comes along and is selling us something that does that for $1.00 per gallon U.S. and there are people that think is is somehow not as good as it could be????? LOL What a crock!

There are people who would complain if they were hung a new rope too I bet
