They are beautiful, Jose. Well done.

Well, it's high time for an update. After my 55gal tank cracked, I moved these guys to the 55 acrylic below. It's not the best tank for shots as you guys know in my "acrylic repair" thread, it's pretty scratched up and makes for taking pics difficult.
The Alenquers are doing quite well. I have since added an autofeeder and now they don't quite associate me with food all the time and duck under a filter into a tight "discus ball" whenever I go to clean their tank or walk into the area, so I've been working to break that thought process out of their little heads, and it's working. They still squabble amongst themselves whenever they are feeding; however, they all are eating well. I have attached some photos and have a video uploading as I type.
They primarily eat FBW, flakes, and pellets, with FBS and live red wrigglers as a snack every now and again.
They are developing the red in the base of their anal fins and some of them are starting to show more blue in their forheads as is evident in one of the photos. They also are getting the red tips on their pelvic fins. They look really nice when they're out swimming around.
Well here are the pics:

Hi there Jose!.
I really enjoyed reading your report and watching the video clip.
Your babies are looking really good. Also I'm glad that 'half dead' is now king of the castle. What a turn around. How's 'Poo' going is he still being a litte Sh*t?
Keep up the good work mate! Looking forward to your next report.
We're here for a good time...not a long time
Looking really good, keep up the outstanding job.
Scott
Thanks, Jason and Scott!
Hey, Joe, yea it's pretty sweet that Lil Half Dead is the king of his own domain (for you Seinfeld fans). Poo is still a lil "sh*t" but half dead and a couple of the others give it right back. It's really interesting to watch all these little guys interact with each other.
