Nice fish Tuck! I like them. Look like my Rose Reds I have...Bill
Thanks Bill,im kind of partial to them to.Getting a pair of albino royal blues as soon as the weather gets better, kind of excited about that. Tuck
The albino royal blues are a nice form of albino..I like them the most so far Tuck. Going to try to pick up most of the obvious equipment today for the raising station. Will probally give you a call this evening, so I can get it right...Bill
i never thought of coffee filters.i guess ill pick a couple up today. i'll have look at the pics again, but i might need to give you a call. not quite sure why you need a tub in tub design. why not just one tub with filtration and hanging coffee filters. i am going to start some breeding again in 3 weeks or so and i will give this a try.
2 x 125g semi planted, single 30g sump, 30g in line
175g Bow
75g grow/ QT
200g fiberglass grow
No problem Bill ill be home all day, looking forward to talking with you. Tuck 3 toes give me a call and ill explain why the 2 tubs work better than just 1.I tried it with 1 and it worked but not near as well as 2.Be happy to tell you what i know and then you can decide which way you want to go. Tuck
Big Tuck - thanks for posting this! Especially with the difficulty you've expressed with typing. It's very interesting. Thank you!
Maybe someone else can help me with one thing I'm not clear on. I don't want to bother Big Tuck when we may get a full write up from someone else soon..
From the two posts above, it looks like the plan is to have dead BBS, and I assume detritus, to be picked up by the filter. But that filter is in the large container, and it appears that the small container that has the waste fall into it has its flow-thru to the larger container covered by a sponge. If so, how do the dead BBS get to the filter?
Thanks.

Hello Big Tuck,
Can you please give us your Water Parameter?
My problem is that each pawn I would have about 200 eggs, but only 10-20 would hatch.
Any one with solution ,please help....
Many thanks,
Perry Nguyen
My paramaters may seem radical to some but they work for me so here they are. PH 5-9 to 61 TDS 50-80 temp 88to 90. 0 on all other tests.
2 batches of red butterfly 12 days apart from the same pair.Half were attached to parents and the others were raised in my NUTTY PROFESSOR gismo. Not possible for me to tell which is which.Im convinced,if you have problems with egg eating, this is a sure fire easy way to go. Tuck
Awesome set-up Big T! The juvies look great too! They taking the ON Prime Reef?
Eddie
Hey Eddy thanks, them critters eat that Prime reef like a bunch of Gators, almost watch them grow.Best flake ive ever fed. Thanks again for bringing it to everyones attention. Tuck
