the one in the middle? that was my first discus, I dont have that one or that LSS anymore. lost the LSS because I forgot to plug the heater back in when I was treating in a 10 gal. with metro. and the one in the middle was my first one ever basically, a LFS red tiger turk. I lost that one. started to not eat, go dark, and got cloudy eyes. so I froze him in the freezer lol, didnt wanna risk him ruining my favorite fish you know?

thanks for the comments guys. In a week or 2 Ill have 21 discus, 18 right now.

yeah man, I really loved the pattern on that fish, unfortunatly it was stunted, and wouldnt get any bigger than it was in those pics there. then once it started to get bullied out of eating, and never left the top corner of the tank, started to get darker, then cloudy eyes....I said its time for this fish to go ...I plan on special ordering some really nice adult turks, probably tigers from Kenny/forrest for that non-albino forrest tank. should be sweet. but I really do wish that fish wasnt stunted and from the LFS...the tiger pattern and the colors were so on point man. its kind of a shame. I was trying to hang onto it, maybe for a future breeder. but once it started going downhill, I really didnt wanna risk it being in the same tank as my big PE, PB, and BS....so I made that choice to euthenise.

take care Ricardo!

Here are my discus eating their FBS after evening wc. All gone in seconds! Sorry about the flash, I am not too good at expert pic taking. Just doing the best I can. Someday I hope to have live plants, sand and wood in here. Cleanliness is my main goal now with these young fish.

Thanks Chris, in all my many years of fishkeeping I have never spent so much time on keeping a tank clean, water changing, wiping down, siphoning, etc. But the way my discus have grown and remain so healthy I am convinced that it sure is worth the effort!

Wow Jason, your discus are really growing! If you're not careful they are going to eat you out of house and home. LOL
