Simply amazing Bill, they are ginormous! I love the patterns, especially in the fins. Fantastic work!

Completed 22 weeks of feeding and daily water changes with these guys. Just like weeds, give them water and sit back and watch them grow.
I wanted to remind myself how much they have grown so I looked up this picture the first day I received them.
I put the same center decoration in their tank and took some pictures.......they have grown.
It didn't take them long to recognize their old toy.
Most of them tried to swim under the arch like they used to do easily when they were smaller but now they had to lay flat on their side to get through.
The rest of these pictures I just sort of liked.
These pictures look to me true to color of the actual discus.
The water parameters have stayed the same, 65 microseimens, 30 parts per million, ph 6.5 with 0 nitrites and 0 ammonia.
The nitrates have remained about 5 ppm with 50-75% daily water changes. All sides, bottom of tank, air lines and any surfaces in the tank are wiped down every other day.
I am feeding beefheart/shrimp, 50/50, mix once per day now and flake two to three times with pellets twice per day.
I add no vitamins or supplements to their food or water.

Isn't it amazing how quickly they grow and develop into beauties. You have done a wonderful job with them Bill. They look super. That was a good idea to put the piece of wood back in their tank to compare their sizes then and now. I think that you should let them keep their toy.
