Wanted to post an updated picture of some of the new guys. Ive got 40-50 swimming around the whole tank, the only time I can get them sort of 'grouped' is when I do a feeding. That is exactly when I took this picture
Nice job with them. Some of the Sera foods are good for red enhancement. Use that with an autofeeder and they should come out beautifull. Looks good.

Hi
just wondering if we could get some new pics of the babies?
Ed
"There was no spoon"
Gave 15 of the largest to the local mom and pop fish store. Lost over 15 due to heater going down. Kept the remaining 10. 4 of the 'babies' made the picture.

Feeding them Frozen Bloodworm and/or Frozen Shrimp in the morning and afternoon. They also get flake food twice a day from an auto feeder

I know, I know... ooooooold thread, but somehow never came across it in the past. Cool seeing other planted tank dude with little ones that made it in a community tank. Been a while since I've had a pair do that... but... I have a beautiful Heckle X female with a brown-based red male who might become my 3rd pair to do so. Had 20 feeding off sides on day 3 of free swimming until I pushed my luck to take pics to post yet had the damn flash on. Spooked parents so bad they shot off to the other side for about 5-7 seconds... and that's all it took for 2 damn angels that shouldn't be in there, a few fat rummynose, and a female apisto ninjensii to move in clickety split and nail the small group that was discombobulated after flung off

Did the pic turn out at least?
LOL... not on that one... just reflection of flash off glass. The 2 past pairs that did that are in 2 different old old threads I did in the past. But I'll switch over to one of my homesteader threads to do update on current pair
