36" Metal Halide with Leds

Hello friends,

I am looking for a 36" Metal Halide with T-5's and Leds built in. No, this is not for my discus tank but for my reef tank. My fixture now is only a T-5 and my corals need more light.

If anyone has one and willing to ship to 60046 in Illinois, PM me.

If not a 36" in light I would be interested in the 150 watt tank mount fixture.

Hey Jeff, I too have a 75 gallon reef with a 36 in 150W MH with T5 and LEDs. I bought mine off of ebay from the seller currentusa. This seller offers factory returns which has been refurished at the factory, comes with all new lamps and a 90 day warranty. Also hubby and I did a DIY wall mount for this fixture. Would you be interested in pictures?

Jeff, Here are some pictures of my DIY wall mount. The metal rods were cut to length and mounted to the bottom oak piece with hinges so the light rotates upwards and can be hooked out of the way.

All the metal rods, hinges and chains were spray painted black. The oak pieces were screwed into wall studs. Holler if you have questions.

What is that covering your tank? Is that a new type of lid?

It is a piece of egg crate cut down to fit the top of the tank (75 gallon). I have yellowheaded jawfish and they are jumpers. Egg crate is wonderful stuff. I make frag racks from it and will soon be making a divider for the 100 gallon for some of Dale's fry.
