    Default BH that is paste

    I made a new batch of BH but it is paste like. Can I still use this?

    It depends on the size of the fish u are feeding, if u have only small fish its ok but if u have big ones the food may be too small for them when it breakes up in the aq. This is just my opin. u may get different views. I just grind mine in a hand mill twice and it comes out big and small for both size fishes. bye! Daryl

    freeze it and use a cheese grater to feed them

    It depends on what you used in it. If it's just BH it will desolve into the water as it thaws. Very messy. If it has a fair amount of raw prawns and flake food mixed in, they will act as a binder and hold it together better. You can also add gelatin to bind it together.

    bh are better fed bit size than cream like.
    it will foul the water if in creamy consistency.

    Mine is always paste as well. Depending on what you put in it, it may or may not fall apart in the water. Freeze it and cut it in to cubes. Feed frozen. If it blows up in the water, then you need to revisit your recipe. Add more binding elements such as shrimp or oatmeal.
