Try plugging the heater itself directly into a wall socket. If it starts to heat, the controller is shot. If it doesn't, then the heater itself is burned out.
My WON heater failed after a little over a year! It just stopped working. The temperature dropped from 80 to 67 overnight on my Angel/Discus 65 gal tank. Luckly, I had another heater. It looks like they fish will be ok. What the heck happened? I thought they were good heaters! No warranty after a year! Anybody have the same problem? HELP! Any ideas?

Thanks. What kind of heaters do people recommend?
I've used all kinds over the years. I prefer Jagers. They have proven the most trouble free for me.

I lost three of my best SAD females to a D58 controller and Titanium WON heaters . I contacted the company. I will NEVER EVER again buy a WON product !!!!!!
