    Beth - Great pics. As your pair's get older I'm sure you are going to have better luck.

    As for the dry run - I used to have a black angel male that did the same thing. He would make dry runs sometimes 2 days before the female got into the mood - ??? - he did turn out to be good male though.

    this male made dry-runs for two years! yes two years! he finnaly fertilized his first spawn with a red turqoise female ??? what the hell was he thinking?

    Defying the odds...... atleast I hope so anyway....

    The proven female finally put the eggs down and the other, sex unknown made runs like a male should

    I covered the tank after the spawn in hopes the eggs would still be there (heavy traffic area in the house where the tank is).... From what I can see in the dark tank, there appears to be no fungus and maybe some black dots after 48 hours ;D So just maybe the one in question is a Male.... I guess I should know one way or the other in the next several hours if the eggs are still there

    It's hard to grow Great Discus unless you start with a Great Supplier like Cary.... oh yeah! and ofcourse a Great Source of CBW's from Dan sure doesn't hurt :-*
