Oh fingers crossed for you!
Here we go again. After moving the pair to their new home on the stands my dad and I built they decided to take a notable break as you can see. For this spawn I was home do I was able to get the filter shut down when she was doing dry runs to help help increase fertilization. After the spawn the tank was treated with meth blue. This helped out drastically with the fungusing of the eggs. I think they may make it this time. Both parents are doing a good job of guarding the eggs and switching on and off giving each other breaks. Here's the clutch this time around.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1343949242.976170.jpg
They laid one Tuesday and this was taken this morning. They started spawning at about 4:15. A little afternoon delight
Oh fingers crossed for you!

Thanks Jen! This is only day two. The always eat them on the third or fourth day. So well see. I may just cage them starting tomorrow. I'm afraid if I do that the parents will stop caring for them like last time. I have a little time to think about it before I need to do something.
Well the ega were further along than I thought. WIGGLERS! Finally! Now the male is swimming around searching for all the ones that have fallen off and gone eschew.
Congrats Brandon
Your discus are talking to you....are you listening
Thanks Pat! Just trying to not get too excited and take it one step at a time. It's hard though
