How many times a day do you Feed your Discus? I have bin keeping Discus for 18 Months now and after a conversation with some other fish keepers I am starting to second guess myself. SO in an effore to get a feel for what other Discus People do - How many times a day do you feed your one to two year old Discus? Thanks in advance and sorry for asking such a basic question.

Jennie,
Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten
Adults twice a day with no food at all on Saturdays.
6 mth old's get fed 3 times at least.
The face of a child can say it all, especially the mouth part of the face!
5 x a day until they are 9 months old or so, then I cut back to 2 x a day... remember the heavier you feed the more water you should be changing
6x a day till 10 months old, then 3x a day.
Juives/sub-adults = 6-8
Adults = 2
How about for a breeding pair? Or is it more about what you feed them?
6 to 8 X until a year and 3 to 4 after that and twice for breeding :

full grown fish once a day is more than enough
Good question. I'm also interested in what other people do. Seems to be pretty similar.
twice to three times a day, depending on my schedule.
It's all good.

I am feeding mine 5x a day and was only doing a WC every other day. I am still feeding them 5x a day but now doing a WC every day and I can already tell a difference in how hungry they are and how they look. So I really agree with this the more you feed the more water you should change.
5x day and WC 40% (140lt) every other day , 100% RO
I think it is a great question. I was just about to ask the same thing but did a bit of searching first. I waaaaaaaaaaaaaay over feed my fellas then up to 5 times a day. No wonder one has a fat belly like homer simpson.
