This thread is a copy of my growout thread of the Altum Floras for Rufus.
Your discus are talking to you....are you listening
Hi everyone! Well Pat's grow out thread has been copied to me because I am now the new owner of these four spectacular Altum Flora discus. I picked them up yesterday from Pat's home. She and her husband and their dogs, cat, horses, wild turkeys as well as her beautiful wilds greeted me as if I was family! Oh, I forgot about her angel fish. She was kind enough to give me a tour of her tanks. Impressive! Her 240g was like looking into a river in Brazil and her Tefes in the newly decorated 90g were awesome! I have included some photos of the AFs in this posting. I will continue to give updates of their progress. There is a confirmed spawning pair and one male and possibly another male. They have adjusted beautifully to their new home. Enjoy. Thank you Pat for trusting me to care for these magnificent discus. Rufus

They look awesome Rufus and way more blue in your tank.

They are very blue Pat. As I said they remind me of the fish that Jack used to have when he was breeding discus long ago. Rufus
Rufus, they are just beautiful! And wow, much more blue also.

For anyone doubting the great care initially of the Altum Floras by Pat and now in my care here is a picture of the six inch pair that as of today hatched their Spawn! They are beautiful and I'm hoping that the fry will be free swimming shortly. Thank you Pat for passing them to me. They are a great joy to me! Rufushttps://vimeo.com/108859920
You are more then welcome Rufus and a joy to see.

Edward, what is your problem about these fish. Why am I indenture to you or anyone else for that matter about their size???if you have a problem with Pat then that's your problem. Don't put me in that ****!!! Stay out of this thread or I'll block you from it! Rufus
Very nice, beautiful fish. Is this different than what had always been referred to as a Red or sometimes Blue Turquoise? ~ Stu
