Pat, any idea when you’ll move them into a bigger tank?
Pat, any idea when you’ll move them into a bigger tank?
Stunning Pat...such nice shape & well proportioned fish. This is one of my favorite threads on SD. Quality pictures and information. TFS
The gang, all ten fish. I brought the tank light to the front of the tank to light the fish for pictures. If you try this you will spook your fish. They will get use to it over time. I cheap a bit and offer food and generally their hunger will overcome their fear. These are cell phone shots.

If the discus are happy, I’m happy
I am noticing a general rounding up on all the fish. I am also noticing a bit of slacking off on my part. I need to knock that off and climb back in the saddle. Here is a few pics from today. The pictures were taken when they were eating BH. I am still using a small grader so the BH is in small pieces. Everyone eats this way and no one hogs the food.
The largest turk, measured him and just under 4 inches.

If I had to select a fish to be judged today it would be this one.

The runt, note the split in the fins. I caught him in the hose while draining the tank a couple months ago and that split never closed. May try to trim the soft rays and see if it will grow back correctly.
