Can anyone tell me how hard the planted tank by Takashi Amano would be to reproduce? Any special lighting, or any need for CO2? That is by far one of my most favorite tanks.

Here are some pics of my 7ft long 210 gallon in progress...I need to take some updated pics, maybe this weekend. The wood is a little more water logged now and sits a bit lower...and I have the brazilian pennywort wrapped around a branch instead of just floating...I also removed the floating anacharis for now.

    Hello Matt,
By far one of the best one's yet. I love the way the drift wood doesn't touch the sand.I'm going to do that to my display tank.If you can show or explain to us how it's done I would appreciate it.
    GOOD LUCK !!!!!

    Thanks!

    Strains:

    Albino Checkerboard
    Eruption Leopard
    Carnation Turquoise
    Altum Flora
Albino Snakeskin or White Butterfly...depending on budget (WB will pepper probably)
    Cobalt Snakeskin

They'll have to be at least 4" because of the planted tank...I'm aiming for early next year for the discus. In the meantime, I'm doing lots of reading, saving up, and being very...very...patient.
