ROFLMAO... Believe me, I've been trying. At first I was having trouble focusing my lense and now the female keeps moving them to different locations out of sight. I suppose to hide the remaining ones.

It's still pretty exciting given this is the first time she hasn't eaten the eggs within an hour or so. BTW, she laid them Thanksgiving day before I woke up.

Barb, I just have the one pair right now, Silver Pigeon and Red Gold Diamond.

I'll get pics up today, I HOPE!

    Here you go...

Not too many left, about eight from over 100 eggs that she started with.

Thats great David, interesting that they left only eight of them. You sure the others didnt climb the hill and go into the hole.

    Take care,

Awesome looking pair BTW. As Eddie said very odd to only see 8 of 100 see wriggler stage. Good to see that they did have wrigglers though. GL with those 8 that are left.

Thanks everyone! So far, so good with the remaining. As for the few numbers, I observed:

    * about 50% turned white or began to get a fungus
    * some eggs disappeared and I suspect were eaten
    * not all of the remaining eggs hatched
    * the female moved the remaining that hatched to the sponge filter then back to the pot

LOL...Eddie the hole is sealed with a black piece of plastic.

It's not unusual at all to see a new pair with only a few wrigglers left. Give them some time to practice and they will be raising them by the hundreds.
