Hi all, Okay, heres the deal with this award...What I need from everyone here at Simplydiscus to do is to go back thru the contestants threads and posts over the last year.. click here . Take into account everything, frequency of updates, movies, information, pics...the total package and then vote for who in your opinion has done the best job of communicating what they have done this past year and the results.

I will let this People's choice voting go on for 24 hours...the the poll will close and after that I will announce the Grand champion as well as the People's choice Award winner.

It's amazing to me how different each group looks considering they are all from the same spawn. Some are near entirly solid while others have over 50% coverage in patterns. It would be interesting to compare these visible traits with diets, water params and maint (wc) schedules.

+1 It would be awesome if we could get follow up statistics...recipes, brands, routines...in general relative metrics.

Its interesting to see how diet, water chemistry.etc could affect the appearence of each contestents discus, some have more stripes whilst some maintained quite solid.

But I have to say it was VERY hard for me to decide whom to vote for as so many did so well.

The contestants sure put a lot of effort into their fish as well as posts and updates and I for one have enjoyed keeping up on their progress and appreciate gaining some valuable education in the process.
