My newest tank setup!!!!

This has to be my 8th different tank setup in the past few years. I am the type always trying new and different ideas some work some don't but I like to keep it fun. The background is a vinyl sticker you apply like window tint with water. Was not easy to put on because of the size pieces but very happy with the results.

Here is what I had before. I really hated the 3D background thought it was just to hard to keep clean so it had to go.

I felt like the original overflow box pulled mostly just surface water and not from the bottom of the tank as much. So I built my own and came up with this idea to get flow in from the bottom and top of the water column.

I ran a 10-24 stainless screw thru the cross brace down into the wood.

Sean, I prefer the look of the background but understand why you changed to the vinyl and it does look good. I like that you can pull junk from the bottom of the tank with your new overflow design.

With my very limited time anymore it just didn't make sense to keep the background in there. It was causing to many problems keeping it clean to much stuff settled into all over it.

I found it at Aquatic Critters in Nashville, TN they had in in blue and black. It really looks good in person
