so i have a spare 60g tank and was wondering since i am currently doing a 50% w/c in my main tank,
instead of putting the drain water in the drain but put it in the 60g spare each day about 20 gallon

so every time i add new good water in my main tank will drain 20g a day from it and add it to the 60g new tank so it be 10g cycle 10g good water.

also i have 2 sponge filter that are cycled already in my main tank
also in about a month will have a bag of ceramic rings cycled as well (in my main tank)

sorry if this sounds confusing lol
its for a breeding project.

The water itself is of no value. The bacteria establishes itself on surfaces. Move a sponge filter over to the other tank.

Hey hey now. I use my waste water to water my wifes plants. It's one of my pros to "let" me get new fish..................
