Nitrites wont budge

Ive been using purepond in my 90 gal for 2 weeks and i have 0 ammonia, 1.0 nitrites and 20 nitrates. Nitrites have been at 1.0 for at least 4 days and i do a 90-95% water change every night. Well tonight i physically cant and the nitrites are still 1.0 but the fish look fine. Will they be ok until tomorrow evening? I was light on feeding them today to see if it would help. Am i just stuck at the peak and it will be droping soon? Ive done a cycle so many times i cant count and i dont remember this.

You can add some prime/safe to detoxify Nitrites.

just wanted too say i started a 75 gallon tank using aquium safe and i was so concern i called bill who i got it from i had a similar issue and he replied too me on the phone and he was right it takes about 1 week i didn't have no issue except i think i have 1 just starting but my tank is amost 2 month's and i'm sure it has nothing too do with the pure, as if was it wouldn't affect just 1 out of the 8 fish

I would cut back on the big water changes for a few days and no wipedowns. the bacteria is in the water column and on any surface in the tank as well as in the filters. doing that large wc's that many times will slow the process.
