Discus with cichlid humps?

So I've seen many of the big asian and german discus with a cichlid hump, some of my discus end up having one. I know this is not a desirable trait as it takes away from the roundness but is this something that is just genetically unavoidable as the fish mature or is it a sign of somewhat stunted growth? Just something I've been wondering about.

buyers should ask for seeing photos or video of the parents before you buy juvenile discus.

all of mine discus don't have hump.

I think it must be some discus have hump are come from genetically.

some of Angelfish have hump too.
