So I set up a small grow out tank (25 gal) for a few little guys I picked up Sunday. I haven’t had time to paint the bottom or sides. I took some computer paper and taped it to the bottom as a make shift way to get the bottom white and you can’t see it there at all. Now I’m thinking if I can’t see the paper how will I see the paint? Thanks.. Jon

I did mine with a "sand" texture spray paint. Love it! And you can see it.

the paper is probably not touching the glass just under it when u paint it is directly on the glass and very visible +1 on the textured for a less plain look

Just to be clear, we are talking about the outside bottom that gets sprayed. Correct?

+1, the paint sticks to the glass where as the paper is only against the glass. Its a totally different effect and paint looks better IMO.
