best ph meter/monitor for the dollar

my milwaukee ph monitor crapped out
i couldnt get it to calbrate so i replaced the probe and it still wont calbrate
i really like the monitors but thinking on going with a hand held meter
so i can use one to check the tank water and my fresh water for water changes
any sugges

Do you mean a ph pen? oakton(usa) eutech(europe & asia) and hanna do good ones. If it's still under warranty you can have it replaced. Make sure that you get the calibration fluid and that. My one is playing up and I have just been doing manual ph tests!

I got a relatively cheap PH pen with the calibrating chemicals and stuff from ebay... still doing good after about a year or so..good enough for me.
