Hey all!

Am getting a 93 gallon (60 length x 20 height x 18 depth) and Im looking into buying a Eheim canister.

Currently I have a Eheim 2217 Classic and its great filter but when it comes to cleaning time its a absolutely soaking nightmare lol.

I am debating on bumping up to the

Is there any flaws with the pro 3 series ( I know of the old issues that the manufacturer has sense rectified)

What is your guys opinion?

I would stay with the classic filters . I have been running 3 2217s a 2250 and 2262 for a 3 years now and have not had any issues with them I had 3 2080 and I had a lot headaches with them .

I own 2 2217 for my 90 gallon. And I don't understand your soaking nightmare but it relatively easy. shut off power shut all 4 valves. disconnect all connectors. Put it in the sink release valve drain and pop the top off and clean. Reverse all the same way to fill Stick hose on bottom connector fill with water till it reaches to the top close valves presto done no MESS .
