What should I Do?

There's nothing you can do. Feed them, change the water and maybe some will grow out decent.

You're not here long enough to know what not to buy ...

They may not eat at your LFS, you may start treat them ... or if you can return them, do it ...

i dont think i can return them

the owner told me that the ate tetracolor and frozen bloodworms

i fed them the tetracolor and only have freeze dried worms

Try to get some frozen bloodworm, if they don't eat, treat em ... Goodluck

Your LFS probably carries frozen bloodworms if he feeds them. See if you can buy some from him, but try not to feed your Discus too much of the frozen bloodworms. If you do, it's very hard to get them to eat anything else.

Sanjay, what I would do is start off with a nice Levamisole treatment and give them a chance to start picking up weight and get rid of some parasites they might be harboring. After that I would would feed them well with some beef heart/seafood mix with some aqua-vitamins or multi-vitamins which ever you prefer. Keep the tank very clean and free of decorations until you get them to feeling-looking better. Hope this helps.....Josie

We all make mistakes so i hope you dont feel to bad. and I'm sure more than a few of us have unknowingly bought a few "beautys" when starting up with discus (atleast I know I have) although some of them are stunted with good care I'm sure some of them will turn out not to bad afterall. Best of luck.

Its true, good food and care and they can turn out nice. I've seen some people do some amazing things with proper care.

Curt

Like Eddie said, with good care, they could turn out fine. Good luck with the fish. My first discus was from an LFS. I had single discus in a 55g for a year and it was barely four inches. After coming across simply, I took better care and he grew more than one inch and turned out a decent fish. Your fish are looking better already.

They look like they are starting to come around a bit. Keep feeding a varied diet and keep the water changes high
