Here is Max at 8 weeks and very naughty. He's a pure-bred German Shepard.

Very nice pup. I love GSD! You should take some pics of him standing, side profile.

I don't think anyone on the forum knows.....yes it is my secret.. I used to breed show quality GSD from top German bloodlines some 20 years back.

Thank you everyone for the kind words. The whole family loves him.

Barb, he still is learning not to jump on people and barks at random things like birds, but he's getting much better with obedience training. He's still just a big puppy sometimes, especially when he barks at his own reflection.

Poco, our family has always had GSDs and no other breed. I loved growing up with GSDs. I don't know if his bloodlines are German or not. He's still learning to sit still for photos.

I just love GSD's - had them just about all my life! For me, they are the best dog there is. Max looks terrific. As you've had a few GSD's you'll know that he will remain a pup until about 6 years of age, when he'll start his second puppyhood! My old fella is over 11 now and still looks great - and still behaves like a pup too!

In some ways it's sad they grow so fast! They are so cute as pups. Hope you have many years with him and he brings you and your family much pleasure.

GSDs are gorgeous!

My kennel club has 2 breeders, and we all get to play with the puppies when it's time to socialize...We all come home slobbered and haired, but that's ok! :D

May he give you years of laughs!

Max is adorable. My last dog was a GSD. Still miss her. Today we have a lab, nice dog also.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments and wishes. I hope we have many years with Max too. And I hope he stays puppy-like for all of them, although without some of the naughtiness...

I agree Pat, Labs are nice dogs too, so sweet.
