Can you put small discus with big discus?

Hi I was just wondering if I can put 3.5 inch discus with some 2.5 inch discus together or will they be stunted because the big guys give off some sort of hormone?

P.S I didn't buy the 2.5 inch discus yet but am wondering to buy from Hans.

The smaller discus can get bullied and may not do well. However, this will depend on the size of the tank and the number of discus in your tank.

They should be ok in a tank with room and isn't overly stocked. Lots of water changes and good food will keep them growing.

Were the 3.5 fish bought from Hans? May not want to mix two different sources depending where they came from.

No the 3.5 inch was from Rick at Canadian aqua farm. I was thinking of getting the 2.5 inch discus from Hans.
