Jaime:
Not all Ace harward carry PP. Order it from Chemcial store.com. Look for a koi supplier in your area, they must have some. Perhaps, try a pharmacy.

Josie, I think the BIDKA instructions would be less prone to errors.

Thanks Josie, I think it is easier for someone who has never used PP before. I mean look how hard it can be to color match the API Master Freshwater kit test results to their little color charts.

PP is used to backwash Manganese greensand filters, so Culligan usually has it. Do you have a Culligan Water business near by?

I could have sent you some. :( I've got it pre-measured with instructions...and a phone number for hand holding.

Yup Keith was kind enough to send me enough for a stock solution and even did some hand holding the first time. Thanks Keith.

I like to keep mine in a Snapple bottle, but you should definitely get it locally if it's available. One of these days the post office is going to pick my envelope to destroy, lol.

Just to know more....Potassium permanganate to treat external parasites, or sterilize the tank......Formalin is an alternative for treating external parasites.....just my 2 cents.

Yes went with formalin instead since I couldn't find any PP in town. Thanks everyone
