It's not really a water question but kind of

So I was filling one of my barrels tonight and I was moving my pump out the way and it slipped out my hand and fell into barrel crushing my heater. Luckily my hand wasn't in the water bc it made a loud buzzing. My question... Do I need to empty the barrel and clean out the broken glass or can I let it be? Is the water harmed at all by this? Probably a stupid question...

I'll empty and clean the barrel, specially because a small piece of glass can get in pump impeller and damage it..

+1, I'd clean it up. It would suck to mess around with it in the future and cut yourself too.
