Doesn't take much to get my discus excited. I recently had heater trouble (my controller started smoking/died). The temperature has been 80 down from the normal 84-85 since that happened Friday. Since that time they've all been pairing off, shimmying, shaking, staring at and cleaning everything vertical and laying eggs. Eggs have been laid on a filter intake tube, heater cord and driftwood. Kind of comical.

Yeah, I just thought it was funny because so many of them started in. I got my new heaters today. Temp is on the rise, we'll see what they think of that.

No, all three batches gone. The first batch made it a couple of days. When I fed the tank this morning, the eggs were gotten to in that excitement when the parents chose blackworms over protecting the eggs. They were gone in seconds. The other batches were eaten as they were laid. The latter were first batches by young fish.
