Discus and angelfish question

If an angel starts eating the slime coat of a discus when young do they ever grow out of that habit? Anyone ever reintroduce the angel back into the tank and have them coexist with the discus?
I have 5 pinoy paraiba that I love. 3 or the 5 have picked slime off the discus and 2 never bothered them. I would like to add them back into the main tank and just want to see if anyone has done it successfully.

I don't think so this habits goes in one of my friends planted tank he introduce angels again but in some days they started eating slim coat again

Damn decisions decisions.....don't know if I should set up their own tank or get rid of them. They really don't get along with each other in a 120. Wondering if it'll work in a 20 long....lol
