Will a high pH level(7.6) effect the growth rate in discus?

Starting from what size?
My 4.5 inch fish are growing fine in 7.6.
Juvies may be a different story. Need some pros for that answer.

They're about 3-3 and a half inches, Had them since August when they were about 2". They just seem to be growing slow. They are in a 45 gallon, planted tank, that gets a 75-85% water change daily. Temp kept at 82

PH is fine just raise the temp slightly and feed at least six times a day small meals instead of doing one large change do two small water changes twice a day if you can.....Josie

You will hear this time and time again. As long as your ph Is consistent, it does not matter. Proper water quality + proper feedings = healthy discus.
