In the process of putting a 72" wide, 30" tall and 37" deep tank in the wall. If I go flush with the wall then I am a little tight for space in the fish room. Was wondering does anybody have any pictures with large tanks protruding into the room 8 to 12"? Just wondering how that would look. This is in my basement so I am able to use concrete for everything which means that once the ledge is poured I really don't want to have to modify it. All work will be done before I get the tank and since it will weigh 650# empty trying different ideas not really an option. Most of the walls are finished in carsiding with one wall a cinder block (brownish red) so asthetically having the tank on a concrete ledge should tie it in with the rest of the room. Just not completely settled on how it would look so anybody with a similar setup could you please post a picture.
