Hi
I got some 8
Stendker Discus, 3-4 inches directly from Germany, Friday night
There very active swimming
in a 40 gallon tank, non stop
When do they settle down
They do eat a bit

Ther were in the bags I was told for 24 hour`s

uh.. i thought only HANS could get the fish in North America.. guess it was just USA>.
anyways.. it can take days.. for them to recover from trip..
did you acclimate the bags to your tank water for a long time.. or just drop and plop straight into tank??

tank water can be come toxic with ammonia.. when bags are sealed up for a period of time.. and shipped.. BUT if they are active and swimming.. then no worry.. just give them time..
how did you cycle your tank?

Congratulation George. Would you like post pictures of your new discus for sharing.
Don't forget to add Furan 2 is good for protection ur prize fish.

No need for furans 2 ! You don't medicate healthy stock . Especially if they have never been mixed from other farms. Just
Stresses them out. Q

The tank was running for a few years. I did have some Apisto that I bred in that tank and 2 locally bred Discus, that was in there for 1 year, that aren`t in there, once I got my New Discus
I post some pic `s this week
