Rod is awsome once again

Finally have had sucess with a small RG albino famale one of my first discus purchased when I knew nothing about them. She has had 2 different males over the last 12 months and many spawns. Just now this is her second with a lovely penang supplied by Rod Lewis Fishmania in Birsbane and we have attachment :D :D :D looks to have been one of her largest spawns too as she is quiet small 4 - 4.5" at a rough guess 75+ attached. Will post pics next week once they are properly settled.

Yeh Mark must have been the angle she is not too bad of a shape and is healthy. She never got the right start from juvi being in a comunity tank that was stocked quiet alot and fourtnightly water changes ect so she never got to grow as much as she should've. She was one of our very first discus 2 years ago before we ever thought of breeding. Started with 1 x 2 and a half foot tank now over 50 tanks 5000 - 6000litres and many Discus pairs.

Thanks Mary. That Male was from Rod Lewis Fishmania discus importer here in Brisbane. Every discus I have ever got of Rod has been of such high quality and of great health I very rarely get Discus any where else. Rod's prices too are great and service goes the same too.

Even used the traditional simply discus measurer the USA dime...... Took a bit of finding in my travel gear. They are now 14 days FS and going great looks like 50% 14 bar SS like the penang father and the other 50% are much pailer tried to get a quick count the other day and there is around 65 - 70. Also another Rod Lewis pair some high body leopards have had their 1st sucessful attachment :D they been FS 2 days now.

They are currently still feeding BBS I try for 6 times a day and starting on Austrlian FDBW and some small fry granuals. Have got them up onto tap water change via auto water unit aprox 20 - 30 % 3 times a day. As you can see not too far off dime size was a little late in starting the BBS due to work.

Here are some update pictures. The fry are nearly 4 weeks FS and almost 1". They are eatting well Aussie FDBW, beef heart mix, NLS growth and getting around 25% water change 3 times a day. The parents are back on their own and looking like spawning again soon.
