Do you guys keep you lights on 24/7 for your breeding pairs?

yes and don't need it too bright, dimm is ok.

Yes, I run one HO T-5 shop light over 4 20g high

I do after they lay, but nothing special with the lighting before then. Some just use a dim light in the area of the tank.

Listen to Keith.... only for a few days during attachment, other than that dont screw with their schedule.... for me after they are attached at about a week to ten days its back to normal lighting schedule. So from laying, day 5 approximately (going freeswimming) to day 14 or so with light on but mostly covered (depending on the strain). Its used as an attachment tool, nothing more or less, meaning it will not induce spawning or anything of the sort to keep the light on extensively just for kicks and grins.

PS.... I do however always have night lights placed randomly throughout the entire fish room, this is primarily to avoid "spooking" them though, once again, nothing to do with breeding.
