I have heard of people using PP to clean used tanks and equipment??? I have a used 110 gallon and a used fx5, now I have used a mild bleach solution and hot water on both, so here is the question......do you use it and if so how??? Now a word of caution I just installed a new rock 3d background in this tank (that I washed) I dont want it to stain purple and will it stain the silicone in my 110???? Please tell me...tanks.........

I like PP for driftwood, but nothing better than good old bleach solution to sanitize and old tank. Still looking for the lime removal magic solution.

I bleached my tank then rinsed with clean water then hydrogen peroxided it then rinsed it again with clean water the left it to air for a few days before filling it.

vinager and baking soda, makes a paste, soak it in a paper towel and let it sit on it
