Somehow I have come into possession of a tank that has a strange dimension: LxWxH--70cmx60cmx100cm I am just wondering if such a tank might become a suitable home for discus? I have been keeping African cichlids for a year now in a 4ft long 75 gallon and it seems that only non-fastswimming cichlids like discus and angels might appreciate a deep rather than long tank. I am of course not considering discus just because I want to make use of the tank. I would rather get rid of the tank than having unhappy fish in the tank. Any advice is appreciated!

That is an odd shaped tank (28" length x 23" width x 40" height) if I have it correctly. That does not have the length for an adult discus tank. You may be able to use it for a growout tank though.
