Hi,

In my 67 gal I use Contro soil without any base substrate. Tank is moderately planted with very little fertilization. API Leaf Zone & Ocean Free Liquid Fertilizer once a week. JBL balls inserted in the substrate. DIY Co2 1bps. Lights 1.5 wpg. Fishes 10 Zebra Danio, 12 Checkered Barbs, 4 Rams, 1 Siamese algae sucker & 1 Rosy Barb. Feeding twice a day with live worms.

I have a Sunsun HW-302A canister filter hooked on. I use coarse filter pads in the bottom compartment, ceramic rings in the second & fine filter pads in the top compartment of the canister filter. Apart from that on the name of filtration I use only a small sponge on the intake of my Co2 reactor placed inside the tank.

My questions are :
1. is this much filtration sufficient or do I need more ? Currently I am not facing any problems in this 2 month old tank so far (canister filter added just a week ago) and
2. what'll be the best filter media for this setup ?
